Apollo 13: The Real Story
"Apollo 13: The Real Story" aired this past weekend on Dateline NBC. The saga is one of the greatest in NASA history. In just over a week TMBA assessed their needs, formulated a plan and delivered several gorgeous 3D renderings of this famous spacecraft, complete with meaningful camera moves and lighting to highlight specific details of the story.
"Apollo 13: The Real Story" was honestly some the best programming we've seen in a long while.
As we wait for Tiger and Jesse's mistresses to gather their forces and launch their new show, shouldn't we be asking ourselves what's next?
Here's the headline:
"...three astronauts in a failing spaceship float in deep dark
space as a team of brilliant scientists work against the clock to
bring them back alive..."
Isn't that the Ultimate Reality TV?
It's way too early to call but, could this be the beginning of a new movement?
Let's call it "Contemporary Intellectual TV?"
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
